Each figure is proven mechanically: the response is stored beside the dataset and every number must equal the named field of the named state's row in it, so a figure that drifts fails the ingest rather than going stale on the page. Where a share is shown it is arithmetic on two published figures of the same row and nothing else. Where CMS withholds a count it is recorded as withheld, naming the field, and never estimated.
